Right-To-Know Law:
Pennsylvania’s most recent Right-To-Know Law was enacted in Act 3 of 2008. The Potter Township Board of Supervisors adopted Resolution No. 1 in 2009 that enacted the Township Policy for Right-To-Know.
Right-To-Know Law Policy:
The Potter Township Right-To-Know Law Policy complies with Act 3 by providing access to public records, while preserving the integrity of the Township records.

Potter Township’s Procedure for Requests:
Requests must be submitted using the form below. Requests may be submitted in person, by mail, by email, or by fax. The township will then send a response stating if the request was accepted/denied or under review within five business days of receipt of the written request for access.

Procedure for Submitting an Appeal:
An appeal for a denied request must be submitted on the 15th business day from the mailing date of the agency’s response. The easiest way to submit an appeal is using the online official OOR Appeal form. Other options for submitting an appeal include email and fax. In person submissions are also accepted at the Office of Open Records during business hours.
