Potter Township is a second-class township located in central Beaver County, Pennsylvania. The Ohio River forms Potter Township’s northern boundary and Raccoon Creek flows through Potter Township to its confluence with the Ohio River.
Potter Township is a dynamic community that is experiencing growth from new housing developments and the anticipated Shell Cracker Plant, along with its potential economic benefits. While Potter Township is growing and changing, it retains a homey atmosphere and a close-knit community.
The Commonwealth has restated that municipalities are exempt from the current COVID restrictions regarding gathering limits. The Township will however follow the current ‘worker safety orders’ in place by reducing the gathering capacity for municipal business to 50% of the building’s occupancy limit of 155 and will only use ZOOM for the Board of Supervisor’s Business Meetings, normally scheduled on the second Wednesday of each month at 6:00 PM.

DOES YOUR HOMEOWNERS INSURANCE COMPANY KNOW WHERE YOU LIVE?
The fire department is asking the question. Everyone living in Potter Township has either a Monaca or Aliquippa zip code. A small portion of your insurance premium goes to your local fire department. Unfortunately, your mailing address does not show what township you live in. Thus, Monaca or Aliquippa fire departments may be receiving these monies. We ask that you contact your insurance company and let them know that you reside in Potter Township so we may receive these funds. We thank you in advance.
Come check out the LIBRARY in the entryway of the municipal building!
