          Potter Township is a second-class township located in central Beaver County, Pennsylvania. The Ohio River forms Potter Township’s northern boundary and Raccoon Creek flows through Potter Township to its confluence with the Ohio River.

Canned food and household items such as paper products, soaps and cleaners are needed.  Bulk commodities are welcome.  No perishables, home packaged food or baby food in glass jars.

All donations can be dropped off at the Township Office during the month of April.

Community Tire Collections Kick Off on Earth Day, April 22

Hanover Township Road Department cleaned up a dump behind the #1 Firehall and brought 400 tires to our collection at the Hookstown Fair Grounds on October 18, 2014.

Need to get rid of tires or wheels from your car or truck? 

 Independence Conservancy will hold affordable community tire collections in partnership with the following municipalities this spring:

4-22-17      Findlay Township Road Dept., 1058 Clinton Rd., Clinton PA 15126

 4-29-17      Ohioville Borough Mun. Bldg., 6268 Tuscarawas Rd., Industry PA 15052

 5-13-17      New Sewickley Twp. Mun. Bldg., 233 Miller Rd., Rochester PA 15074

 5-20-17      Big Beaver Borough Bldg., 114 Forest Dr., Darlington PA 16115

All events are Saturday mornings 9 AM to 12 Noon ~ rain or shine

Individuals and small businesses are welcome             No proof of residency is required

No limit to the number of tires or wheels any one person or business may bring

We offer Community Tire Collections as a public service to provide convenient, affordable disposal of scrap tires, thus reducing the risk of West Nile, Zika and other diseases by eliminating stagnant water where mosquitoes breed. Since 2004, we’ve properly disposed of more than 45,000 scrap tires and wheels!

WINE ON WHEELS


3RD WINE ON WHEELS

Join Potter Twp. V.F.D. on Saturday, June 3rd for their 3rd annual Wine on Wheels.  We will spend the day touring several wineries in Ohio.  The cost is $90 which includes  transportation on a motor coach, lunch & dinner.  We will be leaving at 9:30 am that morning and returning that night.  Price does not include samples or extras at the wineries.
