          Potter Township is a second-class township located in central Beaver County, Pennsylvania. The Ohio River forms Potter Township’s northern boundary and Raccoon Creek flows through Potter Township to its confluence with the Ohio River.

     Potter Township is a dynamic community that is experiencing growth from new housing developments and the anticipated Shell Cracker Plant, along with its potential economic benefits. While Potter Township is growing and changing, it retains a homey atmosphere and a close-knit community.

POTTER TOWNSHIP NOTICE OF MEETINGS

Notice is hereby given of the following meetings to be held at the Potter Township Municipal Building, 206 Mowry Road, Monaca, PA.

The Potter Township Board of Supervisors will hold a Meeting on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at 6:00 pm.  Any Township business may be considered and acted upon by the Board of Supervisors at that meeting.

THE POTTER TOWNSHIP PLANNING COMMISSION WILL HOLD ITS MEETINGS ON THE THIRD THURSDAY OF EACH MONTH AS NECESSARY AT 7:00 PM.  THEIR NEXT MEETING IS ON THURSDAY, JANUARY 19, 2017 AT 7:00 PM.

THE POTTER TOWNSHIP BOARD OF SUPERVISORS REGULAR MEETINGS WILL BE HELD ON THE 2ND AND 4TH WEDNESDAYS OF EACH MONTH AT 6:00 PM.  WORK SESSION WILL BE HELD ON THE 1ST, 3RD, AND 5TH WEDNESDAYS AS NECESSARY AT 6:00 PM.  THE NEXT BOARD OF SUPERVISORS REGULAR MEETING WILL BE HELD ON WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 11, 2017 AT 6:00 PM.

FEBRUARY’S BOARD OF SUPERVISORS REGULAR MEETING WILL BE HELD ON WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 1, 2017 AT 6:00 PM.

Beginning in 2017, Potter Township will be using Valley Waste Service, a local family-owned company, as the garbage service. A newsletter will be sent to all residents soon, explaining the service’s guidelines for garbage pickup.

PLEASE NOTE – GARBAGE PICKUP WILL BE ON FRIDAY MORNINGS STARTING JANUARY 6.
